Schein countdown: 2 down, 4 to go

I actually earned a Schein for that history Vorlesung... man...

I wavered up until the end on that one, too...would I take the exam, would I not... and it was 15 minutes of relatively painless Q&A from the prof. I got the certificate without a grade... even though I rarely went to class, and the prof knew it.

I even wrote a note to the prof an hour before the exam was supposed to take place, saying I wouldn't take it. I met him on my way out (his way in) and he convinced me to try.

It was well worth it.

I also took my exam in History of English today, and thanks to a rapid-fire study session with [livejournal.com profile] walterka we both aced it! So, I've earned three scheins, actually have two in my hand (metaphorically speaking... I can't type with them actually IN my hands...)

Cooked dinner for the bible study group last night (chili and cornbread, yum!) and we're taking the leftovers to Tyndall's to share. I'd better get cleaned up like I intended to. :)

thanks! I have one more exam, one schein I'll get today (for the translation class, no test, no paper, just have to ask the prof for one :), and the other I'll get when Dr. Dreessen grades the paper I haven't written yet. :-/ I'm starting that today though. I had to pick a poem to translate, and we all signed up for that yesterday in class. I picked one I'm curious about, so that ought to help me write a good paper quickly. :)
