not a waste of space

Usually I start off a new website with a disclaimer, something to the effect of: 'Look, here I am again, claiming a little free space on the internet, wasting my time and anyone else's who might happen to stumble across it. I know I have little chance of keeping it up, or even using it much, as I already have several other places out there with my name on, and do not possibly have the time necessary to devote to a site/journal such as this, especially since I have not done so with the others.'

Guess what. No excuses this time. I just wanted to, so I did it.

And thanks to a new acquaintance, I have a battle cry to match this seemingly persistent teenagerish mood of "dammit, because I can":

Fuck it.

Heh. I even called this site the 'junk drawer'. I call most of my sites miscellany or something similar, because that's what I've felt like my life was. No sense, nothing but random thoughts and trite phrases like 'no rhyme or reason'.

I have spent too much of my life listening to others' opinions of my limitations, and, get this, adopting them without so much as testing the validity of said opinions.

Well, fuck it. This is a one-shot deal. I'm tired of giving the reins to everyone else. It's mine.
