big changes...

As blogged this morning, I have had a breakthrough. I think revelutionary life-changes only take place at 3 a.m.... At least this one did. But I did come home and sleep some this afternoon, so I should be decent company for dinner tonight at 7 p.m.
My focus and motivation feels completely changed. I'm not half as fear-driven as I used to be. I'm comfortable in my own skin, and accepting of my body. This is serious progress, I am telling you.
Gratitude is becoming a habit.
In the more mundane...
There appears to be a tradition developing of Saturday dinner, with hosts rotating. This is a Good Thing (TM). Tonight the guys are cooking (Fjalar and Anders) and it should be good. Fjalar has a reputation as a good cook, and I know Anders can at least make some mean Swedish meatballs.
I'm learning ever more Icelandic... words are starting to come to my mind when I'm searching for them now. Don't have the grammar down, and the pronunciation is still beyond me, but then I haven't really practiced that, nor heard much. I'll have to ask Fjalar if he can spare an hour or so every once in a while to teach me pronunciation. IPA is all very well and good, but I won't learn it if I don't practice.
